Your Appointment

Your visit with us will include a complete eye evaluation.  For this, both eyes will be dilated.  Your vision will remain blurry for up to twelve hours.  For your safety, we strongly suggest coming with someone to drive you home after the visit.  If specialized tests are needed, we will try to complete them at the time of your visit.  Please allow two or three hours for your initial consultation.

At Fox Eye Surgeons patients receive same day diagnosis and treatment when possible.  Most of the surgical procedures are on an outpatient basis.

Remember to Bring:

• Glasses, Contact Lenses, and Contact Lens Case
   

• Take your usual medications, including eye drops, prior to your appointment time or bring them with you if you need to take them in our office.
   

• Bring a list of all medications you are taking, including how often you take them.
   

• Bring your health insurances cards and your social security number.
   

• If your insurance company requires a referral, please obtain one from your primary care physician for this visit.
   

• Diabetic patients should especially remember to eat their regular meals.
   

• Complete both sides of the enclosed forms and sign on the appropriate lines.
